ACP President’s Message

These are extraordinary times in our organization’s history.

Through the creation of the American College of Phlebology Foundation (ACPF), the College finally has the dedicated partner it needs to pursue many of the initiatives our members have identified as most important to the ACP and the specialty of phlebology.

I believe that it is vital that the College continues to focus on its educational and professional obligations to over 1,800 members. The ACPF will help provide the support necessary to further expand the vehicles through which the College increases awareness of phlebology, enhances the training of providers of vein treatments, and improves both the access and quality of care received by those suffering from venous conditions.

The ACP has always prided itself on its inclusive nature with its members coming from diverse backgrounds and a variety of medical specialties.  Now, with the ACPF, we can also take pride in our willingness to inclusively elevate the entire phlebological community.  This is our goal, our desire, and our mission.

As a personal donor to the ACPF, I encourage all of the College's membership to consider making an investment in the specialty.  As President of the ACP, I am committed to working in partnership with the leadership of the ACPF on a variety of exciting upcoming initiatives with the common goal of further advancing the field of phlebology.
I look forward, with deep enthusiasm, to the exciting future of our specialty.
